Rotterdam University Students visit Al-Futtaim Logistics
Al-Futtaim Logistics welcomed undergraduate students and ‘School of Built Environment course Logistics Management’ faculty members from Rotterdam University. Al-Futtaim Logistics was one of the selected Logistics companies in the UAE as part of the educational visit that provides its second year students an enhanced experiential learning on logistics operations management and how certain undertakings differ to other countries.
During the visit to Jebel Ali, the students met with multiple Divisional Managers as well as the Managing Director Mr. Raman Kumar to learn about the operational excellence initiatives and the different aspects of logistics and innovation. The students visited various locations covering Cold Store Logistics, Ecommerce Fulfillment Center, Last Mile Delivery Hub, Land Transportation and Automotive Logistics.
Raman Kumar said, “the future of logistics embraces the millennial. We are pleased to showcase our abilities and logistics edge to the leaders of tomorrow."
