Customer-centric approach at Al-Futtaim Logistics
During the latest MRO-AIME 2024 exhibition, Dr. Raman Kumar, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Logistics, gave a special interview for Air Cargo Update.
The company launched its venture into Aerospace Logistics at the end of 2023, followed by participation in the region’s biggest exhibition with suppliers representing all levels of the airline supply chain and aircraft interior specialists.
Air Cargo Update visited our booth, where Dr. Raman Kumar delved deep into the company’s commitment to customer service. He emphasised our goal to be the partner of choice by continuously surveying our customers’ needs and logistics pain points to better tailor our service portfolio for their business challenges. Dr. Kumar also highlighted that Al-Futtaim Logistics witnessed a commendable increase in NPS this year, reaching an impressive score of 73%. This number considerably surpasses the 40-point industry standard for the Logistics & Transport industry*.
Customer-centric approach isn’t the only focus for the company. “D33 is one of the key factors for the vision…. Looking from Al-Futtaim Logistics’ perspective, we are not looking at five years to double ourselves; we are aiming at three years to double ourselves. We have started expanding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I can see that in a month or two, our expansion will further grow. This will give more benefit to the growth in the UAE market.”
