Al-Futtaim Logistics welcomes President - Automotive to its retail warehousing facility
Al-Futtaim Logistics had the pleasure of welcoming Len Hunt, President - Automotive, to its retail logistics facility. The agenda included a high level meeting with Acting Managing Director, Raman Kumar, and a visit to the company's warehouse in Jebel Ali which caters to fashion logistics. The tour also included a visit to the retrofitted warehouse based on the 'garments on hangers' model, after which Len met with Al-Futtaim Logistics' management team.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for Al-Futtaim Logistics to report on its recent progress in retail fashion logistics. Len also met Binoy George, General Manager - Contract Logistics, who presented a site tour of the 12,000 sq. m warehouse, which currently stores retail products from many of Al-Futtaim's retail companies. Development plans to accommodate new areas of growth in cold chain services were also discussed which will enable the company to increase its offering of retail logistics solutions.
Len witnessed Al-Futtaim Logistics' capabilities to rise to the diverse needs of its retail customers, and was impressed by the innovative solutions which have been recently added to the warehousing and distribution offering.
