Al-Futtaim Logistics launches credit card payment options for last mile deliveries and relocations
Al-Futtaim Logistics has launched its credit card payment service for B2C customer transactions, for last mile delivery and relocations services. The new point of sale (POS) service marks a milestone in the expansion of Al-Futtaim Logistics’ customer centric enhancements, as this service will give customers the flexibility of multiple payment options.
Paul Wagstaff, General Manager – Finance, Automotive Finance, was the first customer to use the new payment option. The payment service launch at Festival Tower, Dubai Festival City was witnessed by Rakesh Kukreti, Finance and Commercial Manager, Kavitha Fernando, Client Relations and Marketing Manager, and Malgorzata Wojcicka-Wilczok, Trade Lane and Relocation Manager of Al-Futtaim Logistics.
Paul Wagstaff, who chose to make his payment using his Al-Futtaim Credit Card, said: "I am very satisfied by the service that I received for the relocations and handyman services offered by Al-Futtaim Logistics, and by choosing to pay via credit card gives me additional flexibility, whilst allowing me to benefit from my credit card’s rewards programme.”
Binoy George, General Manager – Contract Logistics said: “The launch of this service will create ease for our customers, especially in the retail and ecommerce sector. The service is aimed to provide a higher level of customer satisfaction, especially with our ambitious plans to continuously grow the third party customer base in this sector.”
This service will allow new customers to choose Al-Futtaim Logistics’ services as a preference, as they can take advantage of their credit card benefits. In a B2C market, which sees higher transaction frequency, the efforts behind the payment transactions are much simpler in comparison to traditional methods, making Al-Futtaim Logistics a more efficient service provider.
