We have developed a great amount of specialist knowledge in the oil and gas and pharmaceutical verticals over recent years, with dedicated high calibre teams in place to maintain and develop new solutions.
Our commitment to these customers includes great investment in temperaturecontrolled vehicles, facilities and packaging solutions, and this focus alone allows IJS Global to commit and deliver vital life science freight requirements from hazardous goods to stem cells research to medical relief.
Al-Futtaim Logistics is planning regional expansion in Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, East Africa, and then into Egypt.

What’s your message to exporters / potential international clients about the current business climate in UAE? The site adjacent to the world’s largest air hub - Dubai World Central (DWC) Al- Maktoum International Airport - will be transformed to host Expo 2020. We foresee a positive trend in the UAE in the next few years leading up to Expo 2020. The event is expected to attract 25 million visitors of which 70 per cent will come from abroad. Dubai Economic Department has predicted 4.7% GDP for 2014 and an added 0.5-0.6 percentage to GDP starting from 2015 up to 2021, making the country an attractive investment proposition for domestic and foreign companies.
The UAE’s stability is well known, and Dubai has established itself as a multi-hub for policymaking, logistics and aid. The first movers are those who will benefit the most from these developments.
